21 Days – Philippinen Bohol Alona Beach auf Panglao
The Alona Beach is one of the most famous tourist resorts in the Philippine province of Bohol because of its white sand and rocky cliffs. The beach is located near a “house” reef where corals and colorful fishes can be seen even without diving equipment. (Alona Beach on the map). Without doubt, this is one of the best resorts in Central Visayas (Central Vasayas), and definitely the best on Panglao and Bohol.
Holidays in Alona Beach are of course beach, diving, snorkeling and excursions to the sights of Panglao Bohol Island. Evening entertainment are the live bands, late night bars, and cafes along the beach or you can just relax in one of the restaurants overlooking the sea and eat only freshly caught specialties from the sea.
Massage Parlors offer their services for little money. If you want to bring something from Bohol for your loved ones, there are shops with souvenirs. Entertainment is also offered by boat trips to the islands or a walk along the coast, snorkelling from the coast, or continue on 100 meters to the reef.P

Seasons and climate
The dry season in the Philippines is the months of December to April. In the months June to November, the monson winds from the southwest bring increased precipitation. The term rainy season for these months should not be taken too literally. In the Visayas it does not rain as much as on Luzon. In the dry season, there is also rain on Bohol from time to time. Droughts and long dry weather periods are extremely rare.
Summer is also called the time from May to July, during this time the temperatures and humidity are higher.
Hurricanes and typhoons
Typhoons can occur in the Philippines from July to October, but Bohol is largely protected from natural disasters such as typhoons, hurricanes and earthquakes in the heart of the Visayas. When hurricanes occur in the Philippines, they usually come from the east or south-east and lose their force on the mountains of the offshore islands of Leyte and Samar. More northern areas of the Philippines and especially the island of Luzon are more often exposed to severe cyclones. The island of Bohol is protected all around and even the dreaded tsunamis cannot reach Bohol.
